Chocolate Ganache & Custard Pudding

For Chocolate Ganache:

  • Milk Chocolate – 5 tbsps
  • Coffee Powder – 1 tsp
  • Cream – 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
  • Salt – a pinch


For Custard Sauce:

  • Milk – 1/2 litre
  • Sugar – 4 – 5 tbsps
  • Custard powder – 2 1/2 tbsps
  • Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp



For Chocolate Ganache:

  • Heat cream in the microwave for about 2 mins or till boiling
  • Add the coffee powder and milk chocolate which is broken in small chunks in the cream
  • Let sit in for 2 mins and then stir vigorously, till mixed well
  • Add vanilla essence and a pinch of salt to it and stir again
  • Put in bowl/ramekins and let it set in the refrigerator for about one hour


For Custard Sauce:

  • In a pan add milk and sugar and bring to a boil
  • Put the custard powder in a cup, dilute it with some water and stir till smooth
  • Pour the custard powder mix and vanilla essence in the milk, gas on simmer and let cook for about 3 minutes/or until thick
  • Remember that the custards consistency should be medium thick because it has to set on top of the chocolate ganache. if you think its too thin mix in 1 tbsp of custard powder diluted in water to the milk and cook for another minute


For Garnishing:

  • You can garnish with nuts of your choice
  • Chocolate flakes/ Chocolate chips

Let it set in refrigerate overnight, and serve chilled.
